Language Development

Language is a system of meanings or a symbol system which represents meaning. We believe that language development has a central role in learning. We help our children to gain an increasing control over language. We make a special effort to develop in our children an independent, creative expression in oral and written language. We encourage children to give a free expression to their ideas, thoughts, feelings, queries and fantasies in both English and Hindi. They thus become effective communicators and gain a sounder understanding of their own personal, social and physical worlds. Children are also helped to develop a grasp of the specific language of various disciplines like Math, the physical and living Sciences, and the Social sciences.
