Raksha Bandhan Celebration

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

The spirit of love, protection and togetherness filled the air as Study Hall School celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and joy. The classrooms were decorated to reflect the festive spirit.
The children made colourful rakhis and the teachers highlighted the true essence of the festival – the bonds of love that go beyond blood relations, signifying care, respect and a promise to protect one another and the traditions associated with Raksha Bandhan. Students were enlightened about the historical and mythological significance of Rakhi, the rituals of tying the sacred thread, and the values it instills. The talk also focused on its contemporary relevance in today’s world – how Raksha Bandhan is no longer just a festival between a brother and sister, but a celebration of all relationships built on trust, support and mutual respect. Teachers emphasized the importance of gender equality, respect for all, and standing up for one another. The celebration concluded with students exchanging handmade rakhis, strengthening the bond of unity and affection among the Study Hall family. It was indeed a memorable and heartwarming celebration that left everyone with a message of love and togetherness.
